Regenokine® Program
A personalized, non-surgical treatment program designed to help manage joint and back pain, improve function and restore tissue health.
Performed by Dr. Jared Greenberg at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin. He is one of nine physicians in the U.S. trained in the Regenokine® Program.
What Is the Regenokine® Program?
The Regenokine® Program is a non-surgical treatment approach in orthopedic medicine with the intent to diminish pain, improve function, and restore tissue health—helping improve overall quality of life.
The program follows a comprehensive approach designed around the individual needs of each patient. Physicians evaluate each patient and develop a treatment plan that may incorporate a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic methods to address pain from multiple angles.
An important component of the program is injection therapy using autologous conditioned serum (ACS). A patient’s blood is processed to obtain a combination of proteins, growth factors, and cytokines that are believed to have anti-inflammatory and restorative properties. The prepared serum—derived from the patient’s own blood—is then re-injected into areas of concern, including joints, the spine, tendons, or muscles.

How Is the Regenokine® Program Different?
The Regenokine® Program is based on an integrated understanding of musculoskeletal pain, recognizing that symptoms may be influenced by both structural damage and underlying biological processes.
Aging, injury, and repetitive stress can contribute to inflammation and reduced tissue repair. Rather than focusing on a single pathway or isolated structure, the program is designed to address these factors together.
This approach may incorporate diagnostic evaluation, biologic therapy, pain management strategies, and supportive measures as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Who May Be a Candidate?
Candidacy for the Regenokine® Program depends on your symptoms, condition, imaging, and physician evaluation. It may be considered for patients with ongoing joint or back pain who are exploring non-surgical treatment options.
- Persistent joint or back pain
- Mild to moderate degenerative conditions
- Orthopedic injuries or dysfunction
- Looking to avoid or delay surgery
- Seeking non-surgical treatment options
An Individualized Approach to Care
The Regenokine® Program represents a treatment philosophy that is tailored to the individual patient. Physicians evaluate each patient and develop a comprehensive set of treatment modalities based on their specific condition and clinical findings.
Every patient is different, and no single treatment—or combination of treatments—works for all. The program may incorporate a range of approaches, including injection therapy, medication, and more traditional rehabilitation strategies as part of an “all of the above” approach.
Treatment Planning May Consider:
- Symptoms and functional limitations
- Physical examination findings
- Imaging and diagnostic evaluation
- Prior treatment history
- Overall goals of care
Understanding the Regenokine® Program Process
Care begins with a consultation, which may be completed in person or virtually for out-of-state patients. During this evaluation, Dr. Greenberg will review your medical history, symptoms, prior treatments, and any available imaging to determine whether the Regenokine® Program may be appropriate.
If moving forward, the next step involves a blood draw, where your sample is processed to prepare the serum used in treatment.
You will then return for the injection phase, where the prepared serum is administered to the targeted area.
The number of visits and overall treatment plan may vary based on several factors, including the severity of the condition, degree of pain, and any underlying health considerations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Am I a candidate for the Regenokine® Program?
Candidacy is determined through a comprehensive evaluation, including your medical history, symptoms, physical findings, and prior imaging. Dr. Greenberg will decide whether the Regenokine® Program is an appropriate option based on your specific condition.
Because every patient is different, outcomes can vary depending on the cause and duration of symptoms.
What areas can be treated?
The Regenokine® Program may be considered for a range of orthopedic conditions affecting areas such as the spine, knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, hand, and ankle.
What does the treatment process involve?
Treatment begins with a detailed consultation, which may be completed virtually for patients traveling from out of state.
- Review of medical history, symptoms, and imaging
- A blood draw to prepare the Regenokine® serum
- A follow-up visit for targeted injections
The number of visits may vary depending on the severity of the condition, level of pain, and any underlying health factors.
How long does treatment take?
Treatment timelines vary. Factors such as the severity of the condition, degree of pain, and existing medical conditions may influence the number of visits and overall treatment plan. Dr. Greenberg will provide guidance based on your individual case.
Is there downtime after treatment?
Most patients report little to no significant disruption to their daily activities following treatment. Recommendations may vary depending on the area treated and your individual response.
Is this the same as PRP or stem cell therapy?
No. The Regenokine® Program is not PRP and it is not stem cell therapy.
It is a physician-directed treatment program that uses autologous conditioned serum (ACS), which contains proteins and signaling molecules involved in the body’s inflammatory response.
Who has been treated with the Regenokine® Program?
The Regenokine® Program has been utilized by patients worldwide, including elite and professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, and Olympic competition. It is also appropriate for individuals at all activity levels seeking non-surgical options for joint and spine conditions.
Is the Regenokine® Program FDA approved?
The U.S. FDA regulates drugs and medical devices. The Regenokine® Program is a treatment philosophy that is not subject to FDA regulation.
