Pamela Verkuilen, APNP

Pamela Verkuilen, APNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner and an advanced practice nurse prescriber (APNP). She serves patients at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Pam is a Wisconsin native and still resides in the Winneconne area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh.. 

She began her nursing career in the emergency department and later moved into occupational health, where she developed a strong interest in back pain and spinal disorders. Pam has over 30 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in a spine care specialty practice.

Throughout more than 25 years with NeuroSpine Center, Pam has collaborated closely with orthopedic spine surgeons and neurosurgeons to provide expert evaluation and treatment, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and diagnostic accuracy

In her new role as Bone Health & Wellness Program Coordinator, Pam leads a personalized, whole-body approach to improving bone strength, body composition, and overall well-being. She is enthusiastic about fracture prevention and bone health optimization prior to spinal fusion and joint replacement procedures. Whether people are looking to prevent bone loss, enhance metabolic health, or make sustainable lifestyle changes, she provides individualized guidance and utilizes evidence-based tools designed to support these goals.

Pam prides herself on being accessible to patients via phone and office encounters. She values building relationships with patients and families, believing that trust and communication improve the quality and continuity of care she delivers.
