Casey M. Brown, DO, is a board-certified physiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered pain care to help individuals improve their quality of life. Dr. Brown practices at the NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin’s Appleton and North Fond du Lac clinics.
Dr. Brown graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder before attending the Des Moines University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa. After graduating, he continued his medical training with an internship at the Pacific Hospital of Long Beach in California, where he was named Compassionate Intern of the Year.
His residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake City helped him gain expertise in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Brown focuses on patient-centered care, in which he carefully listens to concerns, informs his patients about all aspects of their condition and treatment options, and collaborates with them to find the best path forward.
As a physiatrist at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin, Dr. Brown works with his patients to accurately diagnose and effectively treat their pain. He focuses on more conservative treatment measures such as physical therapy, medication, and steroid injections.
Dr. Brown also performs electrodiagnostic evaluations, including EMG and nerve conduction studies, to help identify nerve injuries, neuropathies, and muscle disorders. These tests allow him to pinpoint the source of a patient’s symptoms and guide the most appropriate treatment plan. His approach emphasizes accurate diagnosis, conservative care, and improving function through individualized treatment strategies.
Dr. Brown has been practicing in Northeastern Wisconsin since 2011. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Deann, and their daughter, Bailey. They enjoy water sports, snow skiing, and travel.
