Robert Limoni, MD

Robert Limoni, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin in Appleton, Wisconsin. He is a Manitowoc native and a graduate of Roncalli High School. 

Dr. Limoni attended Marquette University for his undergraduate studies and then completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He spent the first two decades of his practice in Green Bay and then decided it was time to come back home to serve his community. Dr. Limoni felt he would be able to bring his extensive experience and passion for treating patients with hip and knee arthritis to patients in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties.

Dr. Limoni prides himself on being an innovator and bringing cutting-edge technology to his patients. In 2009, he was the first surgeon in Northeast Wisconsin to perform anterior hip replacement. This was a major turning point in his career, as he was able to elevate the level of care offered to local patients. 

Dr. Limoni has also spent the past 10 years of his career striving to enhance outcomes for patients who receive total knee replacement through a team approach and innovative methods in postoperative pain management. Dr. Limoni was part of one of the first surgical teams in the region to offer outpatient joint replacement. In 2021, they performed the very first FDA-approved augmented reality total knee replacement in the United States at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Limoni enjoys managing wildlife on his property in Door County.
